Lorem Ipsum is a «fish» text often used in print and web design. Lorem Ipsum has been the standard «fish» for Latin texts since the early 16th century. At that time a certain unnamed printer created a large collection of sizes and shapes of fonts, using Lorem Ipsum for print samples. Lorem Ipsum has not only survived five centuries without notable changes, but has also made the transition to electronic design.

Its popularity in the new age was served by the publication of Letraset sheets with samples of Lorem Ipsum in the 60s and, more recently, by electronic typesetting programs like Aldus PageMaker, which use Lorem Ipsum in their templates.
